Ova Chem is a Barium Selat company based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We are a team of chemists, engineers, and business experts with academic and industrial backgrounds, and we work hard to make the world a better place.

Production Capabilities
Based in Malaysia, our current boutique manufacturing facility can produce up to 12,000 MT of liquid chemicals per annum.
A new green manufacturing facility with both liquid and powder manufacturing capability is being targeted to be completed by the end of 2022, and is based in Malaysia.
Our new green facility will be efficient in reducing and recycling waste, leveraging on renewable energy, utilizing smart manufacturing software and is capable of analyzing environmental impact; staying true to our commitment towards a safer, sustainable environment.
Oil Field Chemicals
In the aftermath of catastrophic accidents such as the Deepwater Horizon explosion in the Gulf of Mexico in April 2020 and the Exxon Valdez oil spill in March 1989, which resulted in high profile ecological damage, the petroleum industry has developed a reputation as being a dirty industry. At OVA CHEM, we are committed in changing this negativity by investing in the development of a Green Oilfield additive, which is both biodegradable and non-toxic. Sustainability is imperative in making sure we continue to have resources with the ever-growing demand for raw materials while continuing to protect the environment and, most importantly, people’s health.
